Group Volunteers

We are grateful for the support and generosity of our community members and welcome the opportunity to collaborate with groups.

The Volunteer Services Department is proud to have partnerships with various corporations, businesses, schools and organizations which members, students and/or employees make a regular commitment to be part of UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's Volunteer Program. These groups participate in specific, approved assignments at UPMC Children's Hospital. Each individual from each group is required to become a fully credentialed volunteer.

Current groups at UPMC Children's include:

  • Carnegie Museum on the Move program
  • Christopher's Kitchen
  • Lending Hearts
  • Jameson's Army
  • PNC employees participating in our Booksburgh initiative as part of its Grow-Up Great program
  • Numerous college and high school groups, including City High Charter School & Start on Success

These groups developed partnerships with the Volunteer Services Department through specific assignments as part of the Hospital Volunteer Program.
