Hospital Volunteer Program

Our Hospital Volunteer Program is our core volunteer program at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

We have a variety of roles available seven days a week including:

Inpatient Unit Support – Visiting with priority patients, facilitating play or reading a book to or playing a game with kids.
Enhancing the Patient Experience – Supporting families and guests as they find their way around the hospital.
Providing general or administrative support to the organization.

Our volunteers assure our patients and families are surrounded by a safe and knowledgeable team during their hospital experience.

The available assignments vary by location. The majority of openings are at UPMC Children’s main campus.
