Matt's Maker Space

Opening in July 2018 at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Matt's Maker Space serves as a space for kids to foster creativity by exploring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).

At Matt's Maker Space, our Child Life Specialists help your child create and learn in a space dedicated to hand-on learning by using 3-D printers and computers to complete projects and solve problems.

The space has been a passion project from our very own SurvivorConnect project coordinator, Noelle Conover, who started Matt's Maker Space with her family in memory of her son Matthew. Learn more about what this project means to Noelle.

Our Location

Matt's Maker Space is located in the Family Library on the 6th floor of UPMC Children's Hospital.
