Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship

Pediatric orthopaedic research at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC is focused on outcomes and clinical studies of pediatric orthopaedic conditions. Current projects include:

  • Long-term follow-up of surgery for DDH
  • Comparison of the outcome of non-operative treatment of scoliosis
  • Coagulation abnormalities in spine surgery
  • Rate of symptomatic misplaced pedicle screws
  • Pulmonary compromise in EOS
  • ACL reconstruction in the skeletally immature
