This study is investigating the effectiveness of two types of talk therapy (Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT, versus Standard of Care Psychotherapy) in addition to usual clinical care among adolescents and young adults with bipolar disorder.
Adolescents ages 12-18 with diagnosed bipolar disorder, and their parents/legal guardians.
Participants will complete 1 year of psychotherapy treatment, in addition to interviews and questionnaires.
