Youth Computerized Adaptive Test (YCAT) Study

Protocol Description

This study is seeking to develop, test, and apply a new computerized adaptive test to measure the severity of depression, anxiety, mania, disruptive behavior, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders in children and adolescents with the hope of improving psychiatric screening.

Eligibility Criteria

Kids and adolescents ages 7-17 who are currently in treatment for mood or behavioral problems, and their parents.


  • Participants will take a 2 hour test on mood and health symptoms on an iPad
  • Potential to be part of a clinical interview
