MRI Evaluation Study

MR-Sequence Refining and Establishment of Normal Values by Magnetic Resonance

Protocol Description

The goal of this investigational study is to learn how to more thoroughly and quickly conduct MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examinations for sick children. Researchers will collect normal MRI from both children and adults who are well, or recovering from illness, to determine the best way to gain the most information possible.

Eligibility Criteria

The study is open to children and adults up to age 65. For those who are already scheduled for an MRI at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC or UPMC Presbyterian, researchers will use MRI information collected and may require additional MRI scans of other body areas. Participants who are not scheduled for a scan as part of their normal care will have one taken for purposes of this study.
